What is Scon?
Scon is a website I started when I was 9 years old. It was at this age that I became interested in how websites were made. I wasn't sure if making my own website was even possible. After some Google searching I encountered yola.com a free website builder. As far as I was concerned, this was how all websites were made - I wasn't yet aware of HTML or CSS.
I used this website to write about what I was doing, and the software I made using Scratch.
What does Scon mean?
Scon doesn't mean anything. It has no relation to the iconic British snack. It's just a random name I thought of - probably while I was walking to tennis club!
Will this website continue to receive updates?
Yes, this website will continue to receive some updates. New old content will be added and the website will receive bug fixes and other small additions. You should visit the Vaminta website for newer content.
Where is the forum?
There used to be a Scon forum, which was provided by motigo.com. However, motigo.com no longer exists, and the domain has since been bought by someone else. Motigo used to provide web tools such as visitor counters (remember those?), calendars, forums and various other services. The forum was deleted without warning and unfortunately every post there has been lost. There is no plan to replace the forum.
